Annette G. Wheat
Education and Experience Annette, our Firm Manager, holds an Executive Secretarial degree from Mildred Elley, an Associate's degree in accounting from Schenectady County Community College, and a Paralegal Degree also from SCCC. Prior to joining T.M. Byxbee, she was employed for many years as a meeting facilitator by the General Electric Company.
She is a lay Associate of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine d'Ricci, and does volunteer work at the Dominican Spiritual Life Center in Niskayuna, New York. Annette also recently received her Commission to the Formation for Ministry Program in the Diocese of Albany, and has been appointed to Bishop Howard Hubbard's Commission on Peace and Justice. She is also on the Executive Committee for the Special Olympics of New York holding the position of Volunteer Coordinator.
Family and Leisure Activities Annette and her husband, Ray, live with their dogs, Mickey and Zack and cockatiel, Louie. She holds the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and in their spare time Annette and Ray enjoy many hobbies, including snowmobiling, spending time at their camping trailer, hiking, skiing, cooking, making beaded jewelry, and entertaining family and friends.
